Oh, OK, I'll Play - 7 Sordid Secrets-

Everybody knows most all my stories (actually, not even close to all) but here are a few more tidbits:

1) I can play the bagpipes, enjoy a good Haggis and have had 11 Scottish Terriers in my life. (Makes you wonder, don't it?)

2) My dream car is a Ferrari 360 Spider.........with a 10' snowplow and tow hitch to make it useful. But......

3) Driving sucks.

4) I try to keep a vegan or at least vegetarian diet but it's difficult in a carnivorous world. Plus, there is that Haggis thing , Mrs. Dudley's cookies and Garland Store makes a wicked chicken salad sandwich. Anyway, I don't make a big deal of it. I'm actually just thankful that I have anything to stuff in my face.

5) Chris and I have seen 5 comets together: Halley, Hyakatake, Hale-Bopp, LINEAR and now Holmes. (Peyton should go out and see it now)

6) I am working on becoming a curmudgenly recluse.

7) I am working on becoming a better steward of my land.

I'm sorry to inform you that we're all carnivorous fiends here. I'm more of a chicken lover myself but the guys (Troy and Dad) love them some good steak and hamburgers. We promise not to scare the sheep by eating any juicy 'flesh and muscle' when we come to visit.

The driving thing gets me too- although I'm loving the Hummer. Maybe if you get your Spider, you'll love to drive too- but I get dibs for the first ride (after Chris of course).

I can kinda sorta play the flute- it's been a long time though. Bagpipes would be fun to learn. Do you ever play for the sheep? :-)

I haven't seen any comets (that I recall) but I have seen the Aurora Borealis, several eclipses and a handful of falling stars- does that count for cool sky watching?

I don't think you could ever realy be a recluse- you're too personable- and what about all of those fabulous get togethers at the camp? Friends make time fly!

You're already a master of your land- just tell those bees who's boss and you'll be king of the world (or at least theirs- move over Queen Bee!) ;-)

It was fun reading your 7 sordid secrets!
